Children's Vaccine Clinic

Who is eligible to get a booster shot for the COVID-19 vaccine?

 

If you received the Moderna Series                                                         If you received Johnson & Johnson's Janssen

You are eligible for a booster if you are:                                                      You are eligible for a booster if you are:       

  • 18 or older

 

It is recommended for:

  • People who live in long-term care settings

  • Adults with an underlying medical condition

  • This could be any number of chronic health conditions​

  • Adults who work or live in a high-risk setting. Examples would be:

    • First responders or education staff​

    • Food and agriculture workers

    • Manufacturing workers

    • Corrections workers

    • US Postal Service workers

    • Public transit workers

    • Grocery store workers

Reach out to the Cayuga County Health Department or your local pharmacy for options to get your booster. Booster shots for those who are fully-vaccinated with two doses of Moderna or Pfizer, or one dose of the Janssen.  If you aren't feeling well, and have cold or flu-like symptoms, please get tested before getting the shot or consult your primary care provider. 

 

Your insurance may be charged for this services. Please bring your ID, your vaccination record card if you have it, and wear a mask to your appointment.
